On 23 March, the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha has received a letter by the deputy chairman of the CDU-CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, Franz Josef Jung.
In this letter, the senior political official says that he was charged by participants in the meeting of the work group for Western Balkans, held on 21 March, to express to the leader of the Democratic Party the great concern regarding the latest developments in Albania.
“After the strong engagement of my parliamentary group for the judicial reform in your country, we are now very unhappy that this important reform, that 90% of Albanians want, is not being implemented, because the Democratic Party is boycotting Parliament. We encourage you to end parliamentary boycott at once, in order to give way to the implementation of the judicial reform and register for the national election”, Jung says in his letter. /e.i/
