Jozefina Topalli and Arben Imami, two emblematic figures of the Democratic Party, came out on a press conference today to react on the political situation in the country and the fact that they were not included in the candidate list of the Democratic Party for Parliament.
In his speech, Arben Imami said: “Edi Rama cannot leave with the destruction of the DP. The decision for the lists has been taken in violation with the bylaws and every normal procedure. The only solution that we demand is for the DP forums to gather and remove the responsible person, who, in this case it is the leader of DP, Lulzim Basha. This is a list of losers. Edi Rama cannot be removed from power like this”.
Meanwhile, Jozefina Topalli declared that after 26 May, this party is no longer the Democratic Party of 1990.
