The technocrat ministers of the Albanian cabinet have submitted their report regarding the findings in relation to the June 25 elections.
The report states that different privileges have been offered during the election campaign, such as property certificates, legalizations, promises of employment and so on.
The report also identifies the negligence of police to prevent electoral corruption, while vote buying is considered to be a wide spread phenomenon.
“State police did not coordinate with the respective institutions to guarantee the free vote”, the report says.
Meanwhile, the report also states that “high level administration employees and police officers have been involved in vote buying”. /e.i/
