At least 13 people have remained dead and 80 others remained injured following a terrorist attack yesterday afternoon in Las Ramblas, Barcelona.
The attacker has used a white van parked at the site.
Police have confirmed that the event in Barcelona is a terrorist attack and security forces have activated the necessary protocol for these cases.
Driss Oukabir, 20 years of age, born in Morocco, was arrested as the person who rented the van.
The perpetrator, who tried to escape police, died following exchanges of fire in Sant Just Desrvern, around 10 km away from Barcelona. /e.i/
