Albanian and Macedonian government to hold a joint meeting
The first joint meeting between the governments of Albania and Macedonia will be held on Friday in Pogradec.

The news has been confirmed by the Albanian government, which announced that the two cabinets will meet at 2.30 pm.

According to the agenda, the two prime ministers, Rama and Zaev will come out in a joint press conference.

According to the Albanian government, the focus of these talks will be the improvement of bilateral issues through cooperation in the domain of infrastructure, construction of Corridor 8, intensification of trade and strengthening of cooperation in the field of security.

During this meeting, the two governments will also sign several important documents, including a plan of periodical consultations between the Foreign ministries of the two countries, a memorandum of cooperation between the Interior ministers, while the sides will also approve the creation of a Bilateral Economic Council.

On 16 December, prime ministers Rama and Zaev will hold a visit in the area of Pustec, inhabited by the Macedonian minority in Albania.
