Opposition leader Basha addresses accusations against PM Rama

The leader of the Democratic Party, LulzimBasha, declared yesterday that Edi Rama is the last obstacle for the European integration of the country. Basha mentioned the main requirement which needs to be fulfilled for the accession talks to be launched and according to him, Edi Rama is not fulfilled this requirement.

“Crime is not being fought by Edi Rama. Edi Rama is not bringing to justice those who have been caught red handed, as it was the case with his former cabinet minister, SajmirTahiri. Edi Rama is not catching the Balkan’s Escobar, who moves freely from Tirana to Saranda and is saluted instead of being arrested by police and corrupt police officials. Edi Rama is acting as the main obstacle for European Albania. He has sacrificed European Albania for the sake of his ambition, his power, his fear and his ties with crime”, opposition leader Basha said.

Stopping on the situation of crime in the country, the opposition leader declared that the only thing that changed after minister Tahiri was replaced by minister Xhafaj, was the type of drugs which are being trafficked.

“Europe has made it clear that without fighting drug traffic, Albania cannot become part of the European family. Meanwhile, with Edi Rama, police and police officials have turned into traffickers and sellers of cocaine”.
