The head of CEC, Denar Biba has handed today his resignation following the agreement reached between Prime Minister Rama and the leader of DP, Basha.
The opposition has proposed Klement Zguri for this post.
Biba said that this resignation was necessary for the country.
The head of CEC was part of the agreement that was signed on May 18 by the head of SP and head of DP as part of a number of measures aimed at guaranteeing free and fair elections, following a three month political crisis which was started by the opposition. /e.i/
