In a meeting with journalists, the US senior official said that it is very important for the elections to be held. He said that if some parties decide not to participate in the elections, will damage themselves.
“It is very important for the elections to be held. The elections are good when there’s broad participation in them. If some parties decide not to participate, they damage themselves. However, it is the right of every party not to participate in the elections. Boycott damages the image of the country and investments. If OSCE certifies the elections, then the US will recognize them. There’s no room for violence in democratic country and solutions must come from political leaders”, Brian Yee said. /e.i/
