It is the second time that Tirana is on Trump’s focus. The first one has been forgotten. It relates to what happened in October 2016 when the Prime Minister of Albania called on America to “eliminate” Mr. Trump’s from the US Presidency. This is the only case in the world.
The second time is when the country’s opposition, mobilized in a protest against the demagogic elite, is in search of a “new Republic”, with “free elections and without state crime”. Since the very beginning, people’s perception has been that the “Tent” is a place where pro-Trump and anti-Trump lines clash. People see “Trump” at the Protest, (meaning Brexit, France and ‘Frexit’, the fall of the EU, etc)’, while in front of it there are old European elites which are shaking.
Although the majority pretends to control everything, it is unable to win against the opposition’s protest. The majority has often been mistaken by considering it a “certain victory” or by saying that there are “one million slaps” or by saying that “left voters are greater in number” in Albania. What happens with a phenomenon is often different to what happens with figures. And this is what happened in America? Leftist liberals had been announced omnipotent, but Hillary didn’t win. They had announced that Hillary “had collected many funds”, but Hillary didn’t win.
The opposition’s cause may lose in Albania, but only if “Trump” phenomenon is lost. Even this may happen, but if the majority hopes on Trump’s phenomenon to collapse all around the world, then a government that “betrays its own nation” is announced.
At the beginning it betrays by “praying” for the loss of the biggest ally of the nation; then by taking the political crisis of the country to a point where “Trump is lost”.
For careful political observers, there are several signals of the “world battle” taking place in Tirana.
Two signals from Europe within a week:
At the beginning, the visit of the left wing German minister Gabriel. He made strong anti-democratic declarations, by “ordering” the opposition to give up on its protest. Albanian leftists concentrated on SMI considered this unacceptable. Many people wanted to know the reason why the German minister issued this declaration. Today, he declared from Germany, his personal “grudge” against Trump. He attacked Ivanka Trump “because Germany received her as a queen”. It seems that the tension that exists within the left can no longer endure the Trump effect. First it exploded in Tirana and then in Berlin.
The Brexit signal and the links to Tirana:
Five days ago, former Labor Prime Minister, Tony Blair visited Tirana (the Prime Minister), in secrecy for two hours. Then he left in haste. In London, he is mobilized against Brexit. He has engaged 50 thousand activists against Brexit. Violence has broken out in several regions. Blair is a second Londoner Soros. In the middle of a war of pros and cons where the future of Europe is at stake, Blair comes to Tirana, where Soros has his own den. Tirana is the country that the left must hold on to at all costs and this is why anti-Trumpists are coming to Tirana.
The signal of left wing parties that leave the left wing:
18 left wing parties which were in a coalition with the SP in the previous elections, have not joined the SP this time. They haven’t even registered for the elections, something which brings them close to the Opposition, which has refused to participate in the elections “without a technocrat government”. Why is this happening? Again, we have a relation between numbers and value: In terms of numbers, there are 18 strict left wing parties. But the phenomenon of a “chaotic leftism” which is emerging within the governing majority has made them hesitant. Not even leftist Albanians (in general) cannot neglect the great ally of the Albanian people, the United States. To turn your back to Trump means to turn your back to the United States, even according to the leftists that we’re referring to here.
The signal of resistance by the opposition:
Even today, the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha publicly declared to Rama’s government that he will not withdraw and that the government will face the wrath of the people. Not even Gabriel, Mogherini or Fleckenstein managed to intimidate him on behalf of the “EU”. The opposition is daring to the “extreme”, although the government is claiming that it has the support of the left wing people, in spite of the pain caused by communism for half a century. The opposition dares and seems that it’s going to win it, because it represents “Trump” and the people understand this. There cannot be such a strong endurance in front of a situation with crime and 2 billion euros aimed at buying people.
Or perhaps there is a possibility where there is “hope”, the same as in the literature at the beginning of the communist regime, where spells were casted about the victory of communism. This time, the government’s only chance is “Trump’s” loss. But will this happen?!
Shall we wait or not wait until then, this is the question.
