“Gratitude to those people who voted my project. I am thankful to thousands of democrats”.
This was how the leader of the Democratic Party started his first public address after the 25 June 2017 elections.
Basha said that in spite of the efforts that he and the Democratic Party did, this was not enough for these elections, because according to him, crime and dirty money played their biggest role in these elections.
Meanwhile, Basha has also made a decision in regards to his position as leader of the party.
“I have reflected and I have assumed full responsibility. I have decided to freeze all of my functions, by delegating this post to the two vice chairmen”, Basha said.
According to him, the easiest thing would be for him to leave, but he will not do this, because he will continue to fight for democrats until the end. /e.i/
