For many people, overdrafts have turned into a rapid solution for an urgent financial problem that they may encounter. This is indicated by the latest data supplied by the banking system, based on which, loans in the form of overdrafts have seen a significant growth during the months of this year.
According to them, at the end of June this year, the total amount of overdrafts that customers have obtained from banks was 39.1 billion lek as opposed to 38.3 billion lek a month before, in May 2017 or 35.1 billion lek in April 2017. Also, rising figures of this indicator have been supplied by the Bank of Albania for loans in the European and the US currency too.
