Those who wanted to purchase a new home this year, have encountered fewer difficulties in obtaining a bank mortgage for it. This is indicated by the latest data issued by the Bank of Albania, according to which, the amount of these loans has seen a significant rise during this year, especially during election month in June 2017. So, loans for mortgages issued in euro, was 51.3 million in the month of June.
A high figure has also been reported about loans issued in the domestic currency, namely 2.9 billion ALL. The same thing can also be said about mortgages issued in the US dollar, where according to figures supplied by the Bank of Albania, in the month of June 2017, the banking system in the country has issued mortgage loans worth 27.66 million USD.
