PM Rama pledges a 5% economic growth for next year
For next year, the Albanian government is aiming to have a budget which is 4% higher, while economic growth should be around 5%.

This was declared today by the Albanian PM, Edi Rama, according to whom, next year’s budget, which will be 4% bigger, will present many investment opportunities.

Rama stressed that next year’s priorities are investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education and agriculture.

On the other hand, according to the head of the government, the aim is to have an economic growth which goes beyond 5%, because according to him, beyond this level, this growth will be tangible for people.

“Under 5%, economic growth remains a mere figure and it is not a reality of household economies”, Rama said.

According to him, economic growth relies, on one hand, on the growth of incomes and on the other, on massive investments in infrastructure. But, this is not all, because the budget also supports other sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture ore tourism.
