Pope refers to the floods in Albania
During the Sunday mass, the Holy Father, Pope Francis mentioned the threats coming from global warming, referring to the floods taken place in Albania and India.

The Pope demanded nations to take adequate measures in order to reduce the damages caused by global warming.

In his weekly mass held in Saint Peter’s square, the Pope also hailed the “One Planet Summit” which will be held in Paris this week, stressing that he hopes that the fight against global warming will be a successful one.

Pope Francis took this opportunity to tie climate changes with the extreme weather conditions in Albania and India.

“I also extend my support to Albania, which was put in a serious test from the recent floods that the country saw”, declared Pope Francis.
