Trade volume with Kosovo is estimated to be 202 million euros

A new approach in the cooperation with Kosovo lead to a 33% increase of trade volume between Kosovo and Albania in 2017.

Last year, trade volume amounted to 202 million euros, as opposed to 149 million euros in 2016.

In percentage, Kosovo’s exports to Albania increased by 46.39%, while Albania’s exports to Kosovo grew by 30.34%.

In monetary value, last year, Kosovo exported 176,9 million euros worth of goods ,while Kosovo exported 53,9 million euros worth of goods toward Albania.

Meanwhile, authorities from both countries are confident that economic cooperation and trade between the two states will improve in 2018.
