Situation, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro offer their assistance

Kosovo was the first one to offer its support for Albania due to the difficult situation of the recent days caused by the floods.

Montenegro has also expressed its readiness to assist Albania in coping with the situation. “The government of Montenegro will offer its help for Albania to cope with the situation of floods. Natural disasters do not choose a specific place or time. We will show our solidarity with our neighboring countries”, said the Montenegrin president, Dusko Markovic.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic has also offered his assistance for the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama. A statement released by the Serb President’s office says that Vucic has expressed the readiness of his country to provide technical support for Albania in preventing the damages caused by this humanitarian catastrophe.
