Is the Albanian politics ready to bear the weight of changes happening in the West? This is the question. Let me be blunter: Does the right wing have any chance to act as a nest for the European right wing here or not?

Political configurations all around us are changing. They are changing in Europe and they’re changing in the United States. They’re changing slowly, without being noticed.

The left wing is falling and the right wing is rising in European countries, without being noticed. When I have confirmed this fact, many readers have reacted by saying: “What are you saying? You support those Nazis?!”

In general, the European left wing has started its downfall after June 2016 with the Brexit referendum. Now we have come to this point: Germany’s Angela Merkel, a right wing conservative has remained without friends. French President Hollande fell without being noticed. He left almost discreetly, because he was ashamed of going in front of his people and announcing his departure. France had never seen a president with such low approval ratings. But even his left wing party fell to only 6.3% of the votes.

Italy’s Matteo Renzi, a fervent leftist, fell during a referendum in which he felt confident. Mrs. Merkel was left without her two “sidekicks”, although they were leftists. Leftists fell one by one without being noticed. The British Labor Party, which provoked a real storm against Brexit and claimed that it would win the June elections, registered another defeat.

In Holland, in this year’s April elections, the leftists of the Labor Party, who had pledged that they would destroy Geert Vilders right, shrank from 24,8% to 5,7%.

At last, the socialist democrat Martin Schulz, who was part of Mrs. Merkel’s court, fell too. He only obtained 20% of the votes, the lowest result in history.

Even Mrs. Merkel’s European hope, Monsieur Emmanuel Macron, who registered a landslide victory, is gradually falling. Approval ratings for him have fallen, conflicts have started and the reforms have come to a halt.

Merkel is standing on her feet, alone, but she’s wobbling. Perhaps, this may be due to her flirting with the left.

Let us come back to our country:

Is the Albanian politics ready to bear the weight of changes happening in the West? Let me be blunter: Does the right wing have any chance to act as a nest for the European right wing here or not?

A paradox has happened: While the right wing rises in Europe, in Albania, the right wing is destroying itself. The DP has fallen. It can be compared to the sort of fall that Hollande saw or the Labor Party in Holland, which fell close to zero in terms of votes. As far as the votes are concerned, the right wing in our country is not close to 5 or 6%, but its approval ratings are close to zero. While Europe is seeing a fall of the left wing, here we see the fall of the right wing. The West’s right wing has no ally in our country. It’s the same scenario when friends look for a friend in another country and they cannot find one. European and American rightists have been left without a nest in this country. This is the first time in history. Even in the years after World War II, the Communist Komintern had several bases. Even the Italian Fascist Party had fascist militants in Albania.

This time, Trump, Brexit, Merkel, Orban or Kazynsky have no allies here.

What is happening?

The right wing led by the Democratic Party is full of demagogies and without new ideas. All the heads of the DP are either former ministers or militants of Soros’ ultra leftist organizations. Leader Basha has a lifetime in power.

The group of MPs elected this time has ties with the administration or left wing ideas.

The right wing has declared that it will assist the left wing, especially through secret deals after the last elections.

The right wing almost no longer exists. Let us assume that Europe’s rightists will seek alliances with the rightists here. Rest assured that nobody will reply, because there is nobody here.
