Albania has registered an accelerated economic growth of up to 4.06%.
This figure was issued by the Institute of Statistics on the second quarter of the year. For construction sector alone, economic growth was 23% and this was due to the high number of construction permits that local authorities have issued during this period.
Furthermore, INSTAT explains that the main sectors of the economy which have contributed on this growth were: industry, energy and water with 0.69%, trade, hotels, restaurants and transport with 0.52%, public administration, education and healthcare with 0.43%, financial activities and insurance with 0.27%, etc.
