In three days, on 24 July, Bujar Nishani will be replaced in this post by the new president of the country, Ilir Meta. Before leaving office, the head of the state has published on his official page a thanking speech for the public and all of those who helped him in his work.
The outgoing president feels honored for the post that he held for five years in a row and says that he has been utterly committed to it.
“It was an honor for me. I am leaving proud”, Nishani says.
Meanwhile, President Nishani will be remembered as the man who has had continuous communication with Albanians not only in Albania, but also in Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia and Diaspora. /e.i/
