Almost half of private companies have altered their status. This has been the conclusion drawn by tax inspectors on the third day of the implementation of the so called “anti-informality 3” operation.
“During the first days of this operation, we have inspected 717 businesses and 373 of them have altered their status”, tax inspectors say. Meanwhile, they add that “the main purpose of this operation is to inspect businesses on the ground. The action plan includes 78 areas throughout the territory with 95 groups which have continued their operation to identify taxpayers who are not registered in the National Business Center, to see if they are issuing VAT receipts and see if they are declaring their employees”, tax inspectors explain.
