President Meta praises the role of the Armed Forces

The Albanian Armed Forces marked yesterday the 105th anniversary of their creation. On this day, the president of the country, Ilir Meta, who is also Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, said that the country’s military has his utmost support for the development and modernization of armed forces.

“I would like to express my gratitude for all the families of the military men, their sacrifices and the strength that they find when they are away from their sons, parents and husbands. On this anniversary, we would like to express our utmost veneration for all of those who contributed in order for the Albanian Army to strengthen”, the head of the state said.

According to him, the 105th anniversary of the creation of Armed Forces finds the country a NATO member, therefore, the head of the state thanked all Albanian military men who currently contribute alongside military forces of the Alliance peacekeeping missions abroad.
